Prof. Balasubramanya to present a paper in Metering India 2013 Seminar
Prof. C. Balasubramanya, a faculty at CEES will be presenting a paper on "Challenges in adoption of International model of consumer protection in India for mass roll out of smart Energy meters" in the conference on Metering India 2013 Seminar, scheduled to be held on 21-22 February 2013 in New Delhi. His paper was one amongst the few selected best papers for final presentation out of more than 80 papers received from various experts in the metering domain. Read More

21st December, 2012:
The College of Energy, Environment and Sustainability (CEES) conducted a seminar cum webinar on "A Global overview of the role of nuclear energy in the electricity mix" on 21st December 2012. Mr. Nilekani spoke about the mix of different sources in total energy consumption in different countries and how they are planning for this mix to evolve over next couple of decades. This illuminating talk covered safety issues of nuclear reactors, new safer designs, policies and local issues as well as economics of nuclear energy. Read More
